The chinese call it 奶酥 ，or in translation, we call it "milk butter biscuit crust" . This bun combines an interior of creamy milky and butter which is the perfect comforting combination. We gave it a biscuit crust which has a nice slightly crumbly bite.
In line with our Japanese soft bread methodology, this line of breads have a soft and fluffy texture which we achieve by using more eggs and a good balance of butter. This makes it delicious,softer and higher in protein than your average Japanese buns!
